Located just a few hours’ drive from Arusha, it covers 2,850 square kilometres of rolling savannah and seasonal wetlands. The park revolves around the Tarangire River, a critical water source during the dry season that attracts a wide array of animals, making it one of the best wildlife-viewing areas from June to October.
